We are looking for a Junior General Ledger Accountant to join our team and support our accounting operations. The primary focus of this role will be cash reconciliation, along with supporting general ledger activities and month-end processes. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their accounting skills in an international environment.
The position requires working in the EMEA time zone.
Key Responsibilities- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cash reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
- Support general ledger accounting activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Assist with identifying and resolving accounting discrepancies
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes
- Maintain accurate accounting records and follow established internal controls and procedures
- Assist with financial reporting and other accounting-related tasks as needed
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to resolve accounting issues
- 1–2 years of experience in accounting, preferably with some exposure to general ledger activities
- Basic understanding of general accounting principles and balance sheet reconciliations
- Good attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks
- Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and gradually take ownership of assigned tasks
- Experience with NetSuite and/or FloQast is a plus
- Experience working in an international or U.S.-based accounting environment is a plus
- Experience with cash or bank reconciliations is highly desirable

Skills Required
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting, preferably with exposure to general ledger activities
