Role Overview – Junior Financial Controller
As a Junior Controller, you will support the finance team in various tasks, such as preparing financial reports, performance analysis, and cost control. You will also be involved in company process improvements and collaborate with different departments to ensure effective information flow and support business initiatives.
What you’ll do
- Contribute to the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual finance reports.
- Participate in the preparation of the annual budget and financial forecasts.
- Support the improvement and streamlining of controlling processes and workflows to enhance efficiency.
- Contribute to the analysis of performance between the budget, identifying discrepancies and gaps.
- Collaborate with both Holding and Portfolio companies to ensure effective information flow and support our business growth, and operational development.
- Establish strong collaboration with the Project Managers of the portfolio, serving as a key point of contact for financial metrics related to our startups
- Preparation of financial reports intended for investors and the Board of Directors.
- Support to Performance Reporting: deliver financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs to our internal stakeholders.
Who you are
- Education: Degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: at least 1 year of relevant experience in P&C. Previous experience in the Pharma sector or Startup environment is a plus.
- Strong financial knowledge: interpreting financial statements, reports, and cost-benefit analyses.
- Prior experience in accounting is required, with a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical, teamwork, and flexibility skills.
- Proactive, with a strong problem-solving mindset and commitment to achieving business objectives.
- Language skills: English C1.
- Skills: Proficiency in Excel.
