About the Finance Team

Main Mission

The Junior Financial Controller will support the structuring and scaling of YEGO’s finance function by contributing to controlling, reporting, and financial closing activities. The role will play a key part in ensuring accurate financial information, improving financial processes, and supporting the team in a fast-growing and international environment.

Responsibilities
  • Closing & Reporting Support: Actively support month-end and year-end closing processes by reviewing financial statements and preparing relevant accounting adjustments.

  • Budget & Financial Monitoring: Participate in the preparation of the annual budget alongside the Finance Controller and local teams and support monthly budget follow-up and financial analysis.

  • Audit Coordination: Contribute to the annual audit process by preparing supporting documentation and acting as a key point of contact for auditors in collaboration with the Accounting team.

  • Intercompany Operations: Support intercompany billing processes while ensuring compliance with financial standards and internal policies.

  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting tools, and operational efficiency.

  • Compliance & Controls: Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and internal control frameworks.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Entry-level position in financial controlling; no prior experience as a Financial Controller is required. However, for candidates without prior controlling experience, a minimum of 2 years of experience in audit is required.

  • Strong command of Excel and ability to analyse and manipulate financial data efficiently.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in Spanish and English.

  • Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly Navision, is considered a plus.

  • Experience in the industrial sector or in a fast-paced startup/scale-up environment is considered an advantage.

  • Knowledge of French and/or Italian is considered a plus.
