We are looking for a Junior Fatigue & DT Engineer (m/w/d) with 2-5 years of proven experience in the aerospace industry to join our team in Getafe.Candidates should be proficient in the following tasks:- Perform fatigue and damage tolerance analyses of metallic and composite aircraft structures
- Assess crack initiation, crack growth and structural durability with hands-on knowledge of Airbus standards and working practices
- Generate fatigue substantiation reports and inspection threshold assessments
- Support structural modifications and repairs from an F&DT perspective
RequirementsAbout you:
- 2 to 5 years of proven experience in Fatigue & DT analysis in the aerospace industry in the aerospace industry
- Degree in (Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar)
- Experience working with Aerospace OEM / Tier / Suppliers on Specific stress activities.
- Languages: English B1 minimum and Spanish fluency
- MSC Nastran
- Patran/HyperMesh
- CATIA V5
- Excel
- Python/VBA (valuable)
- Airbus methods and tools highly desirable
- Detail-oriented, with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance with engineering standards
- Collaborative team player, comfortable working in multidisciplinary and international engineering environments with strict confidentiality constraints
- Analytical and structured thinker, capable of understanding complex technical constraints and translating them into practical design solutions
