We are looking for an Engine Performance Expert to join our ”Engine Technology” team within the Digital division's product management department in Switzerland. In this role, you will focus on the development and application of domain-specific analytics to optimize engine performance. Your expertise will drive the creation of advanced tools and software solutions designed to enhance efficiency and reduce emissions of engines in our customers fleet.
Your responsibilities

Apply your sound knowledge in engine performance to support the development of innovative analytics tools and software solutions.

Learn to develop and maintain analytic models for Tekomar XPERT including support for operations (tools and expertise) related to production of engine specific configurations.

Support the engineering work related to engine tuning, turbocharger matching, thermodynamic simulations, and proposal of adjustments of the engine control system for Engine Part Load Optimization (EPLO).

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders related to product and consulting offerings.

Render customer and troubleshooting support (2nd level) for Tekomar products in service.
Your background
-
Completed degree in a relevant field (Mechanical Engineering or similar)

Solid understanding of internal combustion engines with willingness to deepen knowledge

Experience in engine technology in an industrial setting or exposure to it through academic projects or internships

Familiarity with developing analytical models, with eagerness to grow into this area

Strong analytical and conceptual skills

Proactive and solution-oriented working style

Self-motivated and curious, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges

Team player, able to communicate to people with different backgrounds and skill sets
-
Knowledge of agile product development or willingness to learn and interest in the marine market

Good communication skills in English (German is a plus)
