Responsibilities
- Build and Test Emails
- Code responsive, visually engaging, and accessible emails using HTML/CSS.
- Test and troubleshoot across email clients, browsers, and devices to ensure optimal rendering.
- Maintain and enhance reusable templates for efficiency and consistency.
- Deploy Campaigns
- Set up and schedule campaigns in Dotdigital and other ESPs (e.g., Mailchimp, Klaviyo, HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Campaign Monitor).
- Implement personalization, links, tracking codes, and basic dynamic content.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely, accurate delivery and alignment with campaign goals.
- Collaborate Across Teams
- Work with designers and copywriters to bring creative concepts to life.
- Partner with account managers to understand client goals and translate them into effective digital executions.
- Contribute ideas to improve processes, workflows, and campaign performance.
What You'll Bring
- 1–2 years of experience in email or web development (agency experience a plus).
- Proficiency in HTML and CSS, with a strong understanding of responsive email design.
- Familiarity with at least one Email Service Provider (ESP)—Dotdigital experience preferred.
- A solid grasp of cross-client compatibility, QA, and email testing best practices.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Bonus Skills
- Experience with SMS/MMS campaign setup or messaging platforms (e.g., Dotdigital SMS, Klaviyo SMS, Attentive, Twilio).
- Familiarity with list segmentation, audience targeting, or data management.
- Comfort with Excel or Google Sheets for campaign reporting or data visualization.
- Experience with dynamic content design and leveraging insight data for personalization or campaign optimization.
- Experience using QA/testing tools such as Litmus or Email on Acid.
- Understanding of accessibility, CAN-SPAM compliance, and deliverability best practices.
