This role is part of our strategic effort to build strong internal electronics capability at our Hosur facility, enabling us to efficiently execute multiple concurrent development programs while reducing dependency on limited engineering resources.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Junior Electrical / Electronics Engineer to support product development and engineering activities across a range of electronics-driven programs. This is a hands-on individual contributor (IC) role focused on PCB systems, embedded controls, and electro-mechanical product support.

The role will work closely with senior engineers to support current and next-generation products such as water dispensers, RO systems, filtration systems, UV-C controllers, and connected devices. The position also plays an important role in building future IoT-enabled product capabilities and internal engineering depth.

The ideal candidate is practical, technically hands-on, and comfortable working across both product development and manufacturing support environments.

Key Responsibilities

Product Development & Engineering Support

• Review existing company PCBs and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support second-generation Q Tap system electronics development.
• Assist in reverse engineering and redevelopment of first-generation system PCBs.
• Work on new PCB and electronics development for Quatreau product lines (Touch, SmartTap, HydreauBar).
• Support development of PumpWave controllers, including control logic enhancements.
• Contribute to G500 auto flush system logic and functionality.
• Assist in development of in-house UltraWave timer systems for solenoid valve control.
• Support connected device development (RO.M), including embedded electronics and sensor integration.
• Collaborate with suppliers to improve UV-C LED controller performance and control logic.

HMI & Display Systems

• Troubleshoot and improve control pad HMI PCBs.
• Address display-related issues such as LED brightness and touch-to-wake logic.
• Evaluate and support TFT display platform improvements.

Vendor & Manufacturing Coordination

• Coordinate with local PCBA vendors (including Coimbatore suppliers) for prototyping and production.
• Support India manufacturing teams with electronics integration, testing, debugging, and production readiness.
• Assist in troubleshooting field and production-level issues.

Capability Building

• Support development of internal electronics engineering capability.
• Contribute to building scalable solutions for future connected and IoT-enabled products.
• Provide backup engineering capacity across multiple development programs.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Experience: 3-5 years of relevant hands-on experience preferred.

Technical Skills

• Basic knowledge of PCB design, circuit debugging, and embedded systems.
• Familiarity with controllers, sensors, relays, pumps, solenoids, and HMI interfaces.
• Experience working with electro-mechanical systems or consumer products is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting is essential.

Behavioral & Functional Skills

• Strong practical problem-solving ability (not purely theoretical).
• Ability to work across both product development and factory environments.
• Good communication skills for coordination with local vendors and global teams.
• Self-driven, adaptable, and capable of growing into a broader engineering role.

Preferred Additional Qualifications

• Exposure to IoT systems, app integration, or cloud-connected product architecture.
• Familiarity with embedded platforms such as ESP32 or similar.
• Experience with connected devices or mobile app-integrated products.
• Background in consumer appliances, water treatment systems, or controller-based products.
