Dark Wolf Solutions is looking for an DevSecOps Engineer who is interested in working in a fast-paced environment building and maintaining a cloud-native DevSecOps platform for a DoD customer. The successful candidate will develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and tools for developers, automate deployment of services to cloud platforms, provide documentation and self-service tools to onboard product teams, and monitor security and performance of platform services. Our DevOps engineers are asked to solve challenging problems for unique customers and have a direct impact on the direction of software products and solutions used by those customers. This position is set to be supported in a hybrid work environment out of Tampa, FL. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Deploying and maintaining common platform services on cloud-native architecture.
- Integrating Kubernetes platform with common enterprise services to satisfy organizational security requirements.
- Implementing secure automation, effective monitoring, and infrastructure as code.
- Deploying and maintaining Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines across multiple environments.
- Supporting and working alongside a cross-functional engineering team on the latest technologies.
- Developing and iterating best practices to increase the quality and velocity of deployments.
- Implementing industry best practices for system hardening and configuration management.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of relevant industry experience
- Relevant experience designing and architecting cloud infrastructure and systems on commercial cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
- Experience designing and deploying self-managed Kubernetes solutions including Tanzu Kubernetes Grid, RedHat OpenShift, and Rancher RKE to commercial cloud platforms
- Experience integrating and providing cloud platform services within a Kubernetes cluster
- Experience managing and provisioning infrastructure using IaC tools such as Terraform and Ansible
- Experience with Docker/OCI containers
- Experience with DevSecOps tools and processes such as GitLab, Jenkins, Nexus, Concourse, SonarQube, Fortify and ThreadFix
- US Citizenship and clearable up to a TS/SCI security clearance
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Experience with DoD FedRAMP authorized cloud platforms such as AWS GovCloud and Azure Government
- Knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation process and security requirements
- Experience using DISA enterprise security products including HBSS and ACAS and performing security hardening to satisfy STIG requirements
- Experience installing and configuring a service mesh for cluster ingress/egress, mTLS, and authorization and authentication of services
- Experience providing Identity Management services within a cloud or Kubernetes environment such Open ID Connect (OIDC) or SAML SSO
