We are looking for a DevOps Engineer - Azure Integration Services for Chennai location, to join our company.

In Wilhelmsen Port Services, we provide our customers with peace of mind while we handle their cargo, their vessels and their crew. We handle 75,000 port calls per year, which means that every 7 minutes, anywhere around the world, we send a ship safely out to sea again to fulfil its purpose. We match local expertise with strict global standards, making sure we consistently make our customers’ port calls as efficient and safe as possible.

Who you are:

You are a collaborative and proactive DevOps engineer with hands-on Microsoft Azure experience and a strong interest in enterprise integration services. You are comfortable supporting deployments, monitoring system health, troubleshooting integration and pipeline issues, and working across technical teams to improve reliability, security and operational efficiency.

What you will be doing:

  • Assist with the deployment, configuration and maintenance of Azure Integration Services components, including Azure Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, Azure API Management, Azure Functions, Storage Accounts and Azure Key Vault.
  • Support development teams in implementing, testing and troubleshooting integrations and cloud-based solutions across Development, Test, UAT and Production environments.
  • Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and integration workflows using Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus, Functions and Bicep templates.
  • Investigate and support the resolution of incidents, failed integrations and deployment issues, escalating complex problems where required.
  • Maintain source control repositories, branching practices and deployment documentation in line with team standards.
  • Contribute to operational documentation, runbooks, support procedures and knowledge base articles for integration services.
  • Follow security best practices for Azure resources, secrets management, access control and integration endpoints, including Microsoft Entra ID and Key Vault.
  • Support compliance with information security standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Identify automation and continuous improvement opportunities to improve release reliability, monitoring, operational efficiency and platform stability.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and technical discussions, contributing ideas, updates and feedback to support successful delivery outcomes.
  • Maintain a good working knowledge of Azure Integration Services, DevOps practices and current developments within the area of responsibility.

Required experience and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure DevOps, Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus/Event Grid and Azure Functions
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools, preferably Azure Pipelines, and Infrastructure-as-Code
  • Scripting or programming skills in PowerShell, Python or Bash for automation
  • Experience with containerisation and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes/AKS
  • Working knowledge of version control and branching strategies
  • Familiarity with Azure Monitor, Application Insights and Log Analytics
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals and security practices, including VNets, DNS, load balancers, firewalls, RBAC, Key Vault and managed identities
  • Strong troubleshooting, collaboration and communication skills in an Agile/Scrum environment

Preferred Certifications

  • Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400)
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
