Junior Dev Ops Engineer
Location: Dayton, OH
Position Description:
Candidate would need experience in Python programming, configuration/management tools such as Gitlab, containerization tools such as Docker and knowledge of microservices / container architectures (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes), orchestration and automation. Must possess experience with designing and implementing AWS Cloud-based hosting solutions. Other skills to include: automated testing, automated deployments (CI/CD pipelines), and branching strategy and implementation.
Must Have:
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's degree in CS or Computer Engineering
2+ years of experience developing tools and processes to drive DevOps, regression testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environments
2+ years of experience troubleshooting, triaging, and resolving issues for CI/CD pipeline failures or slowness
Experience in Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana, and Python or Golang
Experience developing enterprise cloud-native solutions
Experience working with application development teams across the software development life cycle and creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative team environment
Experience hosting applications on commercial cloud providers
Nice If You Have:
Experience with Git, Bash
Experience creating and improving continuous automation across multiple technical stacks
Experience creating and improving continuous deployment tools built on Kubernetes
Experience bringing other organizations on board with DevOps, championing the adoption of DevOps processes, tools, and roles, and working with other development teams to recast work
Experience working in an agile software development environment
Experience working with the DoW
The anticipated salary range for this position is $80,000 to $90,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, the scope of the position, relevant experience, education, certifications, internal equity, customer contractual requirements, security clearance requirements, and other legitimate business considerations.
Skills Required
