Junior Depositary Service Officer
Location: Amsterdam or Maarsbergen
Contract Type: 12-month fixed-term contract with the prospect of a permanent contract
Working Model: Hybrid (3 days per week in the office)
Working Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)
The salary range for this specific role will be € 45.000 – € 50.000 gross per year.
The final salary will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, and role scope, in line with our objective and gender-neutral compensation framework.

Some of the things you’ll be doing
- Performing and reviewing core depositary activities, including cash flow monitoring, asset safekeeping, and oversight functions.
- Monitoring and reconciling fund cash accounts on a daily basis, identifying and escalating any unusual or inconsistent transactions.
- Conducting asset safekeeping controls by verifying, documenting, and maintaining records of assets held by the fund or by the fund manager on behalf of the fund.
- Carrying out oversight activities to ensure that fund operations and transactions comply with applicable regulations, fund documentation, and internal procedures.
- Preparing and reviewing depositary work in line with the four-eyes principle, ensuring accuracy, quality, and regulatory adherence.
- Collaborating closely with Senior Depositary Officers and Depositary Directors to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Acting as a trusted partner to clients, providing high-quality service and support on depositary-related matters.
Contributing as a key member of a collaborative team environment focused on delivering exceptional client service and operational excellence.
What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?
- A Bachelor’s (HBO) or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Fluency in English and Dutch is required.
- Initial professional experience within depositary services, investment funds, banking, financial services, or a similar regulated environment. Experience coordinating projects, mentoring colleagues, or leading small initiatives is considered an asset.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues, clients, and key stakeholders.
- A team-oriented mindset, combined with a high level of energy, motivation, adaptability, and a solution-driven approach.
- A commitment to fostering an open, collaborative, and integrity-driven culture where professionalism and mutual respect are at the core of everything you do.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of the AIFMD, UCITS framework, and the Dutch regulatory landscape is advantageous but not essential.
