PhantomFX is looking for a Junior Data I/O Artist to support the smooth movement, management, and availability of project data and
assets across internal teams and external stakeholders. This entry-level role is suited to candidates who have an interest in VFX
production, data management, and technical operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the transfer and movement of project assets and data.
- Ensure required assets and project data are available to Artists and Production teams.
- Support client sends, downloads, uploads, and data transfers.
- Assist with data archiving and restoration as required.
- Maintain proper file structures and naming conventions.
- Track data transfers and the allocation of physical media/drives.
- Coordinate with Artists, Production, Editorial, and IT teams.
- Follow company and client data-security and confidentiality requirements.
Requirements
- 6 months –1 year of experience; freshers are welcome.
- Basic understanding of VFX or post-production workflows.
- Basic knowledge of file management and data-transfer processes.
- Good computer and technical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and data-handling discipline.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to VFX production requirements.
