(Junior) Data Engineer - Integration & AI

We are looking for a Data Engineer with a focus on Integration and AI to join our global team in Prague. In this role, you will work alongside integration and AI experts to design and develop data solutions that connect applications, APIs, databases, and modern data platforms.

You will have the opportunity to work with SAP Integration Suite, Databricks, cloud technologies, and AI-enabled solutions, while developing your skills in data engineering and enterprise integration.

What you'll bring

• Essential knowledge of AI/ML concepts, with preferred experience working with AI/ML workflows or integrating AI-driven capabilities into applications and data solutions.
• Foundational knowledge of SQL and programming skills in Python or Java.
• Understanding of data pipelines, ETL/ELT concepts, and how data flows between applications and systems.
• Familiarity with data preparation, data validation, and data profiling.
• Interest in or exposure to cloud platforms and modern data technologies; experience with Databricks or similar platforms is a plus.
• Interest in enterprise integration and willingness to develop expertise in SAP Integration Suite and SAP Business Technology Platform.
• Strong communication skills in English and the ability to work effectively in an international, collaborative environment.
• A university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field. We also welcome early-career professionals who have gained relevant experience through internships, student placements, or a junior role in integration, data engineering, consulting, or a related field.

• Be part of a global team of integration and AI experts working on innovative data and integration solutions.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain integration solutions using SAP Integration Suite.
• Integrate data from APIs, databases, applications, and other enterprise systems using SAP technologies and Databricks.
• Apply AI-enabled capabilities to improve data quality checks, data validation, and data processing.
• Work closely with AI experts and project teams to translate project requirements into robust and scalable data solutions.
• Learn and apply SAP integration and data engineering best practices while working on real-world projects.
