The Role: Junior Data Analyst
Focus: Turning raw data into narratives and actionable business strategies.
- Insights & Visualization: Design and maintain dashboards that track user engagement, marketing goals, bot behavior, and customer care efficiency.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform segmentation and cohort analysis to understand user/bot behavior and detect anomalies.
- Reporting: Translate complex findings into clear reports for internal teams and client stakeholders.
- Quality Control: Audit data for accuracy to ensure business decisions are based on sound metrics.
- Data Parsing: Analyzing structured data to detect trends, patterns, and general behavior.
Who You Are
General Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related quantitative field
- Technical Core: Strong proficiency in SQL, statistics, and R. Strong background in statistical modeling, data visualization tools, and a curiosity for marketing/user behavior.
- Tools: Experience with GitHub for version control and familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery).
- Communication: Ability to explain technical "hows" and "whys" to both technical and non-technical stakeholders; strong command of the English language
- Presentation skills: Strong presentation skills, demonstrating an organized flow
Requirements & Logistics
- Hours: 40 hours per week,
- Location: In Office - Bakery Square office (Pittsburgh, PA). Some work from home after year 1
- Relocation: Candidates must be currently located in or willing to relocate to Pittsburgh.

- Pay: $60,000-$70,000 depending on experience
