The Junior Credit Administrator is responsible for processing loan applications, promoting consumer loans, managing data entry, maintaining filing systems, and assisting clients with inquiries in the financial services industry.

To achieve individual loan targets and ensure that all the loan and administrative duties are executed in a timely and efficient manner, according to the company‘s policies and procedures.

Primary Responsibilities:                                                                                       

1. Loan Processing & Credit Support :-

  • Market and Promote consumer loans in line with individual & team loan targets
  • Process all assigned Loan Applications – Inclusive of review and recommendation
  • Provide feedback within 24 hours of receipt of all Loan Applications
  • Register & Complete Loan Applications
  • Liaise with client/ employer for additional information/ clarification
  • Prepare Loan Documents inclusive of closing documents and loan vouchers
  • Assist with Loan disbursements & Other outgoing payments- voucher preparation
  • Review and Maintain Online Application Register/ Requests

2. Data Entry And Receipting:-

  • Loan posting - Generate client accounts and update all client and loan details on system
  • Prepare receipts for Incoming Payments
  • Complete Daily Deposit Process for Cheque Payments
  • Receipt/ Payment posting – Allocate & Enter payments from all sources on system
  • Prepare journals and enter on system

3. Filing & Other:-

  • Prepare file shells with separators & file labels
  • File Loan Application and all Supporting Loan Documents in required sequence
  • Assist with Filing System Maintenance to allow for easy access
  • Assist with other general filing
  • Collect and Distribute daily mail
  • Assist with Walk-in clients & Other Clients’ requests as needed

 

Secondary Responsibilities:

                                                                                                                                   

  1. Perform other job-related duties and functions that may be required from time to time.

Qualifications

Education

Minimum 5 CSEC passes inclusive of Grade 1 or 2  in Mathematics and English A and

6 CAPE passes (full certificate) or an equivalent diploma or professional certificate

Degree in Business Administration/Management

Experience

Minimum one (1) year experience in Financial Services Industry

Skills Required
