As Junior Control System Engineer, you will be involved in Control System design for Gas Turbine and Steam Turbine driven Compressor and Generator applications, Electric Motors, Reciprocating Compressors and Turboexpanders. You will interact with a team of multiple disciplines engineers, Customers and Suppliers and you will have the opportunity to introduce new technology to enhance company profitability and productivity. You will participate in maintaining and incorporating new cost-effective solutions for design.
As a Junior Control System Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Defining Control Systems architecture based on projects requirements and the application of International Standards (e.g. ATEX, CSA, NEC/NEMA, IECex)
- Defining the Package Control philosophy, based on internal standard and tailored for specific Customer needs.
- Coordinating the detailed control hardware and software design, by interacting with other engineering specialists, suppliers, Customers.
- Optimizing and simplifying the internal standard solutions and design tools, promoting and developing new ideas.
- Supporting New Product and New Technology introduction in the market, participating as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews
- Formulate security architecture recommendations and design security services, providing risk assessments and technical information as required.
Please note that this is a Temporary position of 12 months with the possibility to be converted in Permanent.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a MSc. of Science in Control, Electrical, Electronic, Industrial, Management or Computer Science Engineering.
- Be familiar in Control System design and related development tools; knowledge of industry codes and standards.
- Be familiar with PLC architectures, computer networks, industrial Safety principles. Good knowledge of OT technologies, SCADA/Process Automation systems security architectures and applications of industrial data acquisition protocols (OPC, Modbus, etc.).
- Have well-developed interpersonal and communication skills; able to influence and motivate others.
- Be able to work in multi-cultural team and willing to travel worldwide up to 10% of the time for short customer meetings and/or site/test bed support
- Be fluent in spoken and written English.
