The RoleCapco Managed Services partners with leading financial institutions to deliver scalable operational solutions alongside strategic advisory services. As a Junior Compliance Analyst, you'll support compliance monitoring, governance, regulatory reporting, and financial crime operations. Working closely with compliance and internal control teams, you'll help ensure business activities align with applicable regulatory requirements while identifying and escalating potential financial crime risks.
What You'll Do- Review transactions, sanctions alerts, and client activity to identify potential suspicious activity requiring further investigation.
- Support compliance operations by managing policy updates, maintaining compliance documentation, disclosure requests, and regulatory records.
- Research, prepare, and document Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) and other regulatory reporting while maintaining detailed case documentation.
- Perform client onboarding, due diligence, account maintenance, and lifecycle activities in accordance with regulatory and internal policy requirements.
- Identify compliance risks, data anomalies, and financial crime indicators, escalating matters appropriately while supporting continuous process improvement.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree with at least 1 year of compliance, AML, KYC, financial crime, or related financial services experience.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and stakeholder groups.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to exercise sound judgment when handling confidential information.
- ACAMS certification.
- Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) certification.
- Experience with AML transaction monitoring or sanctions screening.
- Familiarity with SAR preparation and regulatory reporting.
- Knowledge of U.S. financial services regulations and financial crime frameworks.
