We are currently seeking to recruit a Junior Accountant to join our growing team in Athens.
Main duties and responsibilities

• Daily accounts reconciliation, including analyzing account data and generating financial reports
• Assist in the preparation of local & other group statutory reports
• Assist in the preparation of VAT & Tax reports
• Review and monitoring of invoices and preparation of payment instructions
• Bank reconciliations
• Perform other general accounting & bookkeeping duties
• Implement accounting records of day-to-day transactions based on accounting policies and standards in an accurate and timely manner.
• Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts (banks, intercompany, suppliers, customers etc.)

Candidate profile

• University graduate degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
• Very good knowledge of English language
• Team player
• Attention to detail
• 0-2 years of working experience
