Position Overview

As a Junior Business Manager Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our Business Manager with day-to-day operations, team coordination, and campaign management. This entry-level role is perfect for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit business operations, marketing, and leadership support. You’ll be part of a dynamic team working closely with nonprofit clients and internal departments to ensure our outreach strategies run smoothly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Business Manager with administrative tasks, scheduling, and internal communication

  • Assist with the planning and execution of marketing and outreach campaigns

  • Help track campaign performance metrics and prepare weekly reports

  • Maintain records of team performance, attendance, and campaign outcomes

  • Coordinate logistics for community events, including materials, locations, and team assignments

  • Facilitate communication between management and field outreach teams

  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving operations and impact

  • Provide general office support and help onboard new team members as needed

Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Strong interest in nonprofit work, marketing, or business operations

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong time management skills

  • Effective communicator with a positive, team-first attitude

  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment

  • Eager to learn and grow professionally

  • Comfortable working with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and CRM tools (training provided)

  • Previous leadership or assistant experience is a plus, but not required
