Our client, is a medium sized chartered accountancy practice with 2 Directors and 21 staff. They are looking to recruit am experience Bookkeeper to join their team based in Palmers Green.
Practice experience is a must, as is 1-2 years in a similar role. AAT qualification would be an advantage also. They use VT software for bookkeeping. Sage knowledge would be useful but not a requisite.
Working on a portfolio of clients with responsibilities including the following:
- Processing sales and purchases invoices
- Bank & credit card reconciliations
- Posting month end journals such as payroll, depreciation, accruals and prepayments
-Prepare month end reports as requested
-Liaising with clients
- Prepare VAT returns for different VAT schemes and submit VAT returns
Hours : - Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30 pm
Annual holidays: - 28 days inclusive of bank holidays.
Pensions are with NEST and the statutory contributions.
Skills Required
- Practice experience
- 1-2 years in a similar role
- AAT qualification
- Experience using VT bookkeeping software
- Knowledge of Sage
