Responsibilities
- 1–2 years of relevant industry experience
- Contribute to the backend development team by assisting with the design, implementation, and deployment of scalable services under the guidance of senior teammates
- Support code review processes—actively receive feedback and gradually begin to provide constructive comments
- Help improve monitoring and alerting (e.g., New Relic) by learning existing dashboards and suggesting small enhancements
- Follow established software standards and collaborate with the team to maintain code quality
Skills & Knowledge
- Basic understanding of backend development concepts and a strong desire to write production‑ready code
- Hands‑on exposure to Go (Golang) through university projects, internships, or personal experiments
- Familiarity with HTTP/REST; any experience with gRPC and Protocol Buffers is a plus
- Coursework or project experience with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL (MongoDB,Redis) databases
- Some exposure to cloud‑native environments (AWS or equivalent) via labs, tutorials, or internships
- Any experience with monitoring/logging tools (Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, New Relic) is a bonus
- Understanding of microservices and related architectural design patterns

As Bitaksi, we offer our users the convenience of hailing a taxi with just one tap and track the taxi’s arrival as well as the driver’s name, score, and license plate number. Our users can share information about their trip such as the driver’s name, the taxi’s license plate number, and their live location with any person they wish.
Moreover, our users can travel with their furry friends thanks to our Pet Taxi service in 24 cities we operate.
