Our vision is to build an enduring, iconic brand that breaks down barriers & inspires greater passion & participation in the sport we love.

We’re looking for a Junior Art Director who will help shape and execute Bandit’s visual storytelling across every brand touchpoint. You would work closely with our Art Direct and Head of Brand Design to develop concepts, build visual worlds, and translate ideas into compelling creative across campaigns, shoots, social, digital, e-commerce, retail, events, and special projects. This is a highly collaborative and hands-on role for someone with exceptional visual instincts, strong design fundamentals, and a deep interest in fashion, sport, photography, and culture.

Requirements
  • Partner with Creative leadership to concept and develop seasonal campaigns, product launches, brand moments, and ongoing creative.
  • Translate creative direction into mood boards, treatments, layouts, references, and visual systems.
  • Help art direct photo and video shoots, working alongside photographers, directors, stylists, producers, and other creative partners.
  • Support the development of shot lists, casting direction, locations, styling references, set design, and other elements that shape the visual world of a shoot.
  • Design and execute creative across social, digital, e-commerce, email, retail, events, and other brand channels.
  • Work closely with Brand, Marketing, E-commerce, Product, and Retail teams to translate business needs into thoughtful, on-brand creative.
  • Participate in creative reviews and confidently present ideas, references, and design decisions.
  • Maintain consistency across Bandit’s visual identity while finding opportunities to evolve and push the brand forward.
  • Stay deeply connected to what’s happening across running, fashion, art, photography, design, music, and culture and bring relevant inspiration into the creative process.
  • Support multiple creative projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of craft and attention to detail.
  • Help organize and maintain creative references, brand assets, templates, and visual guidelines.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in art direction, graphic design, or a related creative role, ideally within fashion, apparel, sport, lifestyle, or a culturally relevant consumer brand or agency.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating excellent visual taste, design fundamentals, and emerging art direction and conceptual thinking.
  • Strong understanding of typography, composition, color, photography, and visual storytelling.
  • Experience developing creative for both digital and physical brand touchpoints.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
  • Familiarity with photo and video production and an interest in developing deeper on-set art direction experience.
  • Ability to take a creative idea from initial reference and concept through execution.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high bar for craft.
  • Comfortable receiving feedback, iterating quickly, and working collaboratively with different creative disciplines.
  • Curious, resourceful, and eager to contribute ideas rather than simply execute direction.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift and the creative team is constantly balancing long-term brand building with immediate needs.

Benefits
  • Competitive salary + equity compensation
  • 401k match
  • Top tier medical insurance/benefits
  • Rocket-ship level momentum with a career-defining opportunity at-hand

At Bandit, we’re building an incredible culture rooted in our three core values—Trust, Empathy, & Excellence.
