Our Global Operations Finance Team provides support for the business for closing of the books world-wide. We are in contact with local and regional business controller-ship teams. Our services include, preparatory and closing activities in Cash and Banking, Closing & Reporting, Intercompany areas.

You will process/monitor outgoing payments and make cost monitoring to provide support for the business
As a Junior AP Accountant, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing weekly Cashflow reporting, to ensure adequate funds in place
- Preparing and completing the weekly payments for various entities for Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan
- Identifying the VAT invoices for payment and work with the Tax Accountant to ensure that they are paid.
- Creating payment orders in the relevant internet banking platforms or Trax payment tool and work with the approvers to ensure timely release
- Working with the Accenture team on completion of payment proposals
- Liaising with the banks to resolve any issues / queries
- Working with the business / vendors to supply any proof of payments if requested
- Monthly bank reconciliation
- Preparation of Customs, VAT & WHT payments in various EPR systems and banking platforms

To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in either Finance, Accounting, Economics, Math or Business
- Have fluent Azerbaijani, intermediate English and Russian
- Be proficient in MS Office
- Have internships or experience in accounting
