Junior Analytics Engineer

So far, we’ve rebuilt the Big Three consumer finance products from scratch: loans, credit cards and car finance. We get money into our customers’ hands in minutes instead of days.

We’re growing fast, and there’s a lot more to do: we’re going after the two biggest Western markets (UK and US) where trillions worth of financial products are held by big banks with dated systems and painful processes.

1. Take ownership across a broad remit. You are trusted to make decisions that drive a material impact on the direction and success of Lendable from day 1

3. Build the best technology in-house, using new data sources, machine learning and AI to make machines do the heavy lifting

As a Junior Analytics Engineer, you'll work on meaningful projects that directly influence how data is leveraged for critical business decisions for our Credit Cards. You'll have a real say in shaping our data models and how they are surfaced to downstream consumers, ensuring our data products are not only robust and reliable but also intuitive and valuable to end users across the business. This is an ideal role for someone seeking hands-on experience, rapid learning, and career growth in one of the most dynamic sectors of the economy.

Must have:

• Strong knowledge if SQL and version control (github)

• Understanding of data warehouse concepts and/or experience (or strong interest) in designing data models.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach to data integrity and quality.

• Familiarity with DBT

• Willingness and aptitude to learn quickly.

• 1-2 years experience in an engineering/analytical role.

• Strong communication skills.

• Curious mindset.

Desirable

• Exposure to a cloud databases (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift)

• Experience or interest in fintech or financial services data

• Live coding SQL test

• Peer interviews to assess technical skills and business insight

• Final interview with hiring manager and a product domain stakeholder
