About the role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior AML Analyst to join our growing Compliance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and financial crime prevention.
The successful candidate will support the team in transaction monitoring, screening activities, and administrative tasks, while also assisting the Deputy MLRO in day-to-day compliance operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform transaction monitoring to identify unusual or potentially suspicious activity
- Conduct customer and transaction screening using internal systems and tools
- Review alerts and escalate cases where necessary in line with AML procedures
- Provide day-to-day support to the Deputy MLRO, including preparation of documentation and follow-ups
- Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and documentation
- Support administrative tasks related to AML processes and reporting
- Follow internal policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines at all times
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and resolve queries
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Good organisational and time management abilities
- Basic understanding of AML principles (preferred but not essential)
- Ability to follow procedures and work in a structured environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
