Responsibilities
- Perform bookkeeping, post journal entries, and update the general ledger.
- Process invoices, manage accounts payable and receivable, and issue receipts.
- Conduct bank and ledger reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Assist in preparing financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and various financial reports.
- Support Senior Accountant during audits and ensure adherence to accounting principles, financial laws, and regulations.
- Participate in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Maintain organized and accurate internal financial records and databases.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in accounting, finance or relevant field is essential.
- Two (2) + years working in a small accounting department (1-2 people) is preferred.
- Fundamental understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax law is necessary.
- Proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite, a plus) and strong Microsoft Office, especially excel, required.

Pay: $20.50/hour - $23.50/hour
