Junior Accountant

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our growing team. In this role, you will support the finance department in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and assisting in day-to-day accounting operations. Responsibilities

• Issuing sales invoices and receipts, while updating the CRM & Approval systems.
• Communicating with customers to reconcile outstanding balances.
• Managing Accounts Receivable.
• Preparing and submitting withholding tax forms, declarations, and social security filings (APD).
• Working with the MyDATA system and correctly categorizing invoices.
• Archiving accounting documents and maintaining electronic records.
• Recording and reviewing invoices and expenses in the accounting system.
• Handling filings and applications with the General Commercial Registry (GEMI).

Skills & Experience

• 0–2 years of relevant experience as an Accountant or in a similar finance role.
• Solid understanding of accounting regulations and procedures, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Familiarity with MyDATA and electronic invoicing systems.
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., FreshBooks, QuickBooks, or similar).
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Knowledge of general ledger functions is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• BSc in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant degree.
• Additional certification (CPA, CMA, or equivalent) will be considered a plus.
