Junior Accountant - W/M/X

📄 JOB DESCRIPTION

• As an Indirect procurement accountant, you will be part of the “ Indirect Purchasing accounting ” team that is in charge of :

🎯 TASKS

• Manage and record vendor invoices, banks and credit cards payments 
• Post and review general ledger entries and support information 
• Maintain and update fixed assets ledger 
• Manage balance sheet reconciliation and prepare reporting sheets in monthly basis and closing 

task responsabilities 

• Own several key monthly closing tasks, including vendor account review, accruals, assets, and 

prepayments.

• Work closing Controlling team and Procurement team. 
• Safeguard internal controls process through the review of PO details, contract terms and invoicing.
• Support the timely reporting of key financial information 
• Manage the Indirect Procurement cycle - PO review, register and payment. 
• Support on preparing necessary information required for tax compliance purposes (VAT, Income 

tax and Withholding tax), and collaborate with Accounting manager. 

• Prepare and follow up on monthly payments in communication with Treasury department. 
• Onboard new suppliers (including tax ID and banking validation); identify and cull duplicate or inactive vendors. 
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and local GAAP accounting rules, where applicable 
• Participate actively in Audit Process (Interim and yearly audit) 
• Participate in the Implementation of new accounting tools and systems 

👉 MUST HAVE skills

• You have a bachelor degree in finance, accounting or economics with 1 year minimum of proven years of proven experience in a similar role.
•  You have advanced knowledge of Excel and SAP (S/4HANA).
• You are fluent in English and Italian.  
• You have the ability to work proactively, with a strong aptitude for teamwork and the ability to work independently.  
• You are known for your attention to detail, capable of delivering accurate work on time.  
• You enjoy change and are able to work in a constantly evolving environment.
