About The Role
This role will support the Head of Finance by maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with daily accounting tasks, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
The role will also be responsible for assisting with financial reporting, budgeting & taxation.
What You'll Be Doing
Assist with monthly financial reporting, reconciliations, and preparation of management accounts.
Assist in supporting documentation for payroll inputs for monthly submission/ processing
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
Provides accounting assistance to the Finance Head to meet Vouch business needs
Maintain accurate accounting records and spreadsheets
Ensure compliance with internal financial processes and procedures
Assist with internal and external audits by preparing documentation
Support compliance with tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements
Maintain proper documentation and audit trails
Interface with management in various departments;
Assist with preparing of weekly reports for Exco (Management).
Compiles weekly, monthly & quarterly reports;
Ad hoc financial reporting requests and tasks as required.
What We Are Looking For
Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Honours will be advantageous.
Studying towards or completed SAIPA articles will be advantageous.
2–4 years’ accounting experience (preferably in insurance or financial services).
Exposure to IFRS and insurance accounting standards are beneficial
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Pastel, SAP, or similar)
Computer Literate (MS Office, Word & Excel)
Attention to detail and strong analytical ability.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Good organizational and time-management skills
