Accountant & Finance Operations Manager (all genders) | Junior | Germany (Working from Home) | Part-time (20-25 hours per week) | Fixed-term Contract (2 years) | Salary: 18.600-21.400€ (based on 20 hours/week)

Your Impact
As a Junior Accountant & Finance Operations Manager (all genders) at eduki, you become the operational backbone of our Finance team. Within two years, you've helped us close faster, navigate the transition to new ways of working, and create the breathing room for AI-driven process improvements to actually land. Here are the key tasks you'll own:
- Accounting Support: Support the Finance team with national and international accounting processes, including general bookkeeping activities and assistance with month-end and year-end closing tasks.
- Account Reconciliation: Assist with reconciling accounts to ensure accuracy of financial records and help maintain clean and reliable books.
- Invoice Verification & Finance Inbox: Check incoming invoices for correctness, organize and process receipts in the Finance system, and manage the Finance inbox including forwarding and requesting missing documents.
- Payments & Receivables Management: Support payment matching, accounts receivable processes, dunning activities, and handle customer inquiries regarding invoices, credit notes, and payouts.
- Reporting, Process Improvement & Ad Hoc Support: Distribute credit notes, support recurring reporting and audit preparation, and contribute to the improvement of Finance processes including the use of new tools and AI, while remaining flexible in supporting evolving team needs.
Your Skills and Expertise
You're detail-oriented, structured, and bring a solid foundation in accounting — ready to become the reliable force that keeps our Finance operations running smoothly. Furthermore, you should check the following boxes:
- You have a strong understanding of Accounting and Finance Operations.
- You are fluent in German and possess a good command of English.
- You have exceptional attention to detail and catch what others might miss.
- You are reliable and follow through on commitments consistently.
- You have a structured work style and can prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- You are comfortable working with digital tools and picking up new systems quickly.
- Nice-to-Have: Experience with DATEV or Spendesk are a plus, but we're happy to coach you on these.
Please note: Due to legal restrictions, we can only hire candidates living in and owning a valid work permit for Germany. eduki is a registered employer in Germany, and you will receive a direct work contract with us according to German work law.
This role is initially fixed-term for up to 2 years, with the potential for extension depending on business needs.
Attractive Compensation Package: The total compensation for this role is up to 23.550 EUR per year and consists of a fixed salary and a VSOP (Virtual Stock Options Program) package. Depending on your skills and competencies, as well as your individual performance, the gross annual salary will range between 18.600 EUR and 21.400 EUR (based on 20 hours/week).
