For our Finance team, we are looking for a motivated Junior Accounting Specialist (m/f/x) to support our day-to-day accounting operations. This role reports our Head of Accounting & Controlling and offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, to develop your skills and grow your career in accounting.
WHO YOU ARE:
- You have a degree in Accounting or Finance (HAK/HAS) or are currently studying in this field at a university or equivalent (BA/MA)
- You have some work experience in Accounting or Finance
- You are motivated to learn and grow, with a proactive mindset and willingness to take on new challenges
- You have an eye for detail, are structured in your work, and strive for accuracy and data integrity
- You are a team player with a hands-on mentality and want to work in an environment where your ideas can shape future processes
- You have a can-do mentality and do not use the term “That doesn’t work”
- You are fluent in English and have good German skills
- You care about the world and want to spend your time making a difference
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Support the day-to-day accounting operations for multiple Refurbed Group entities
- Reconcile customer and vendor accounts, prepare reports, and ensure the accuracy of financial data
- Contribute to internal process documentation and SOPs, ensure finance processes are clear and scalable
- Work cross-functionally with colleagues from other teams (e.g., Operations, Supply, Marketing, People, others) to ensure smooth financial workflows
- Take part in audit preparations, learn about internal control systems, and progressively take on more responsibility as you grow
