Junior Accountant - Cyprus

XS is a licensed and fast-growing multi-asset CFD broker. We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our team of experts in Cyprus, Limassol.

Responsibilities:

• Daily update of the accounting records for the group of Companies.
• Verify the accuracy of data and data processing of accounting and bookkeeping related information.
• Execute and record payment/bank transactions and ensuring they are accurately reflected in the accounting records.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and principles.
• Maintain good communication with both internal and external parties.
• Preparation of VAT returns.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related field will be considered as an advantage.
• Previous experience in the Financial, Banking or FX industry will be considered as an advantage.
• Knowledge of SAP accounting software will be considered as an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and MS Excel.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
