Introduction
As a part of ASML Korea’s Finance organization, the team is charged with ensuring statutory and tax compliance for several entities, including Cymer Korea, ASML Singapore, Cymer Singapore, and ASML Malaysia. This position offers exposure to global business operations and involvement with various ERP systems, such as Oracle for Cymer and SAP for ASML. Key Responsibilities
General Accounting & Month-End Closing
- Process invoices for our team such as audit fee, tax compliance expenses, etc.
- Prepare and update account details (Cash, Opex, other asset & liabilities, etc.) for monthly closing (MEC).
- Post insurance, annual leave, payroll, and pension data utilizing tools such as AICO.
- Assist with quarterly and annual account reconciliation.
Internal/External Reporting & Audit Support
- Prepare management reports and provide support in budget versus actual analysis.
- Prepare documents for corporate tax filings and assist in compiling audit materials.
- Coordinate with auditors, upload required documents, and manage related deadlines.
Tax & Statutory Compliance support
- Assist in preparing corporate tax and other statutory filing documents.
- Prepare statutory reports and enter necessary data into systems.
Team Communication & Collaboration
- Participate actively in regular meetings, training sessions, and workshops.
- Communicate and coordinate with other departments and external partners to ensure seamless collaboration.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Business, Accounting, or Finance).
0~2 years of related experience (Internship or short-term experience is also preferred)
Proficient in MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
Basic understanding of accounting and finance principles.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Korean.
Detail-oriented, responsible, and a good team player.
Preferred Skills
Experience with SAP, Oracle, AICO or other ERP/accounting systems.
Experience in multinational or global environments.
Accounting/tax certifications or relevant coursework.
