Job Overview
The Assistant Account Manager performs specific duties relating to the management of ParkX monthly accounts and transient revenue tracking for all locations. This individual should continuously work to improve the level of service we extend to our clients and customers, particularly with respect to customer account management and revenue reconciliation. This person will assist the Parking Accounts Manager with any assigned work tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Assists with budgets and variance reports for assigned locations
- Utilizes Paris software to assist in the management of monthly accounts, including but not limited to invoicing, parking assignments, waitlists, permit requests, and account adjustments
- Provides timely and friendly customer service to monthly parking customers to convey accurate program information and resolve inquiries
- Assists in the identification of program and process optimizations and provides recommendations to improve efficiency and productivity
- Assists Parking Account Manager with assigned PCI compliance tasks.
- Assists with onboarding of new team members including interviewing and training
- Assists with the tracking of accounts payable and receivable to ensure that payments are accurate and timely recorded
- Follows up with customer accounts that are carrying past due balances
- Verifies and enters data into financial processing system according to ParkX procedures, and troubleshoots system as needed
- Prepares invoices, account statements, and other records
- Assists Comstock’s accounting team with any ParkX accounting needs
- Assists with the auditing parking lot transactions, procedures, controls, and policies
- Assists with the maintenance of records
- Maintains a positive attitude while working with customers and clients
- Possesses a complete knowledge and understanding of all properties within the ParkX portfolio
- Understands all relevant systems within the Remote Management Center, including but not limited to Commend intercoms, various PARCS, Outlook, Paris, Geneva, TEZ systems, INDECT, and SWEB
- Fully investigates any account irregularities, and reports issues to upper management
- Maintains knowledge of departmental policies and procedures
- Maintains a flexible schedule as the needs of the business evolves
- Adjusts to changing demands in daily priority levels and workflow
- Helps promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale
- Ensures revenue controls, processes, and procedures are followed
- Performs additional auditing duties including but not limited to completing spot inspections, performing site visits, and verifying the accuracy of revenue reports
- Conducts training sessions for new hires, to ensure that they are following correct procedures for Paris and Geneva data entry
- Performs other duties and tasks as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Possess a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of 1 year with operational and leadership experience, including revenue control and reporting
- Background in the parking industry in a supervisory role within a private
- operation organization strongly desired, but not required
- Established experience in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
- Must be highly credible and trustworthy, and operate with high degree of integrity
- Must hold oneself and others accountable and strive for a high level of excellence
- Must have a positive, can-do attitude and be able to fuel growth and innovation
- Must be customer-focused and results-oriented
- Must want to continuously learn and develop
