Job Summary:

As the Product Marketing Associate you will help bolster Finlays juice-based portfolio, utilizing market research and strategy, to bring new products to market. You will be responsible for developing and implementing go-to market plans for successful product launches, supporting and leading cross functional teams along the way. As a part of our Go-To-Market team, you will develop and manage launch phasing, working closely with Sales to equip them with training, marketing content and an effective sampling process. You will develop post launch feedback loops to be able to respond to launch challenges quickly and effectively.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development and execution of go-to-market strategies for new product offerings, working cross functionally throughout the process.
  • Support account-based marketing initiatives, acting as key player to support growth at customer level. 
  • Collaborate with Technical and Operations teams on product enhancement for scaling, optimization and technical features.  
  • Understand and represent the voice of the customer before, during, and after launch. 
  • Be part of a team that develop pricing strategies for product offerings
  • Team up with Brand & Insights to launch marketing campaigns for new products. 
  • Support packaging design, working as lead to support product launches and updates.
  • Work cross-functionally with R&D, Innovation, Operations, Engineering, Finance, and Quality ensuring smooth workflows and interdepartmental understanding of new products. 
  • Educate the Sales team through product and marketing strategy training sessions. 
  • Deliver relevant insights to sales team to drive customer interaction and support pipeline activity. 
  • Support Sales team with customer inquiries, customer meetings, trade shows, and requested marketing materials.   
  • Develop and ensure effective sampling of products. 
  • Navigate unique customer opportunities against our portfolio and capabilities. 
  • Work in partnership with Data & Insights teams, identifying and analyzing needs of the market, customers, market size and competition to refine, position, and make relevant for customers. 
  • Support the Marketing Director-Juice, executing annual marketing tasks, pricing, new product development of juice-based offerings and SKU rationalization. 
  • Deliver against agreed upon goals & objectives. 
  • Aid in company performance to budget. 
  • Have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment. 
  • Possesses strong communication skills and independently prioritize and execute tasks.

The salary range for this role is $55,000 - $65,000 annually/ hourly.

Within this range, individual pay is determined by the work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The total compensation package for this position also includes a choice of health care plan (medical, vision, and dental insurance), a quarterly incentive bonus, paid time off, parental leave, bereavement leave and a 401(K) for all eligible employees.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and/or Food Science preferred. 
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in Product Management, Product Marketing, or relatable experience.  
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. 
  • Ability to derive recommendations from data analysis. 
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams. 
  • Proficient in handling simultaneous projects and delivering on tight timelines. 
  • Advanced capabilities in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, & Adobe.  
  • Ability to travel to our facilities, meetings and trade events. 3-6 times a year, up to 20%.  

Physical Demands

  • Ability to work beyond regularly scheduled hours during peak periods or critical operations
  • Must possess adequate vision, hearing, and verbal communication skills to meet essential job performance and safety standards.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and regularly perform physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, lifting, climbing, bending, stooping, squatting, and using hands for detailed tasks
  • Physically capable of performing tasks such as lifting, climbing, and using hand and power tools, including pallet jacks, scales, ladders, and standard material handling and cleaning equipment
  • Capable of safely lifting up to 25 pounds frequently throughout the day; ability to handle heavier items with proper lifting equipment or team-assisted techniques to ensure safety

Work Environment

  • Employees must be able to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment that may include exposure to odors, dust, moderate noise levels, and fluctuations in temperature and ventilation
  • Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times, which may include but is not limited to: safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, gloves, hairnets, uniforms, and face shields, as required by specific job duties and safety protocols
  • Ability to work in elevated positions, at up to 50 feet and using proper safety precautions
  • Must be able to work in limited or cramped spaces and extend arms into machinery for inspection, cleaning, or maintenance tasks, while following all established safety protocols

  • Exhibit an understanding of quality and food safety standards and be able to speak about the Finlays quality and food safety system and your role in it.
  • Handle customer complaints in a timely and professional manner so that the customer is put first, always.
  • Participate fully in Finlays programs that drive continuous improvement methodologies.
