Job Description
Enterprise Horizon Consulting Group is looking for a motivated Jr. Supply Systems Analyst to join our team and support our Navy client. Under the oversight of the Project Manager, the analyst’s responsibilities may include:
- Review, analysis, processing, and management of transactional documents processed by the Navy supply systems.
- Perform analysis and closure of Stock in Transit (SIT) records by obtaining Proof of Shipment (POS), transportation, and Proof of Delivery (POD) information resulting in proof of receipt at destination. Identify and recommend corrections to open SIT records resulting from systemic problems or poor business processes.
- Perform analysis and resolution of complex issues including Failed Write-Offs, Write-Off Reversals SIT-501 Unmatched, RTV PO, ERP Defects, Interface Errors, and Shipper’s Loss.
- Process SUPSHIP requirements to reverse Goods Issue MVT 641 and create new PO.
- Perform analysis and closure of Carcass Tracking records. Research open exchange issues and Point of Entry (POE) issues.
- Reconcile Unreconciled Balances (URBs)/inventory balances with reporting sites who report end-of-day balances.
- Monitor SDRs via the Product Data Reporting and Evaluation Program (PDREP) system and assist with corrective actions. Research, determine causes, contact customers to prevent recurrences.
- Review and reconcile disconnects within Commercial Asset Visibility (CAV)/Proxy CAV. Assist Navy personnel in the planning and preparation of inventories and audit events.
- Assist in identifying areas for process improvement and cost savings. Collaborates with associates to improve efficiency, productivity, and processes.
- Provides analysis and statistical information on tracking product shipments, returns, and inventory.
- May include cross-training for other functions.
- Other duties as assigned.
Work Schedule: This is a hybrid position with Tuesdays & Wednesdays on-site in Philadelphia, PA.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Must be local to Philadelphia, PA and able to be on-site 2 days/week.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with internal and external organizations and activities.
- Analytical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Highly Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of Commercial Supply Chain; including an understanding of shipping and receiving material procedures.
- Specific experience in the Navy’s ERP system, Navy Supply/Financial Systems, and interfacing systems
- Knowledge of Navy ERP IDOC processing.
- Knowledge of DoD logistics, the Navy Supply System and the Navy's process of monitoring material: recording issues, receipts, condition code changes, un-reconciled balances, contract data and material movement transactions.
- Knowledge of eRMS particularly Advanced Traceability and Control (ATAC) and NAVSUP WSS In-Transit Accountability (NITA).
- Security clearance highly desired.
