Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Project Manager at ASAR Digital in Lisle, IL. As a Junior SAP Project Manager, you will support the planning, execution, and closing of SAP projects. You will work closely with senior project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. This role offers an excellent opportunity for career growth and development in SAP project management.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and coordination of SAP project activities.
- Collaborate with senior project managers to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Coordinate communication between project team members, stakeholders, and clients. Assist in identifying and managing project risks and issues.
- Support the preparation of project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes. Participate in project meetings and facilitate discussions as needed. Ensure adherence to project management standards and best practices.
- Assist in resource allocation and management to optimize project efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in project management, preferably within SAP or ERP implementations.
- Basic understanding of SAP modules and functionalities.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. PMP or CAPM certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of SAP solutions is a plus
