HybridWhat you will do
The Jr. Indirect Tax Analyst will support the Indirect Tax compliance function across multiple jurisdictions in Latin America. This role is ideal for an individual looking to grow their expertise in Indirect Tax compliance practices while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to contribute to Kenvue’s operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Indirect Tax Compliance Support: Assist in the preparation and filing of Indirect tax returns, including VAT, GST, and other applicable taxes across various LATAM countries, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- Regulatory Monitoring: Help monitor changes in Indirect tax legislation affecting Kenvue’s operations and assist in assessing compliance requirements.
- Compliance Support: Provide assistance to internal stakeholders by gathering and organizing information related to Indirect tax compliance issues for business operations and transactions.
- Collaboration with Outsource Provider: Work closely with external tax compliance service providers to assist in ensuring accurate and timely filings and to address any compliance-related queries.
- Audit Preparation Assistance: Aid in the preparation for Indirect tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities by organizing and maintaining necessary documentation.
- Process Improvement Contributions: Identify opportunities to improve Indirect tax compliance processes and suggest best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1 year of experience in Indirect Tax compliance or accounting roles, preferably within the consumer health or related industries in LATAM.
- Basic knowledge of Indirect Tax laws, regulations, and compliance practices in LATAM countries is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, in Spanish and English; knowledge of Portuguese is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with tax compliance software is an advantage.
