Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain front-end and back-end components of web applications under the guidance of senior team members.
- Support the implementation of user interfaces using modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
- Assist in building server-side logic, APIs, and database integrations using languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, C#, or Node.js.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, QA testers, product owners, and business analysts.
- Troubleshoot and debug application issues, contributing to continuous improvement and performance enhancements.
- Work within government security, compliance, and technical standards.
- Support deployment activities and environments, including CI/CD tools and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent practical experience.
- 1–3 years of experience (including internships or academic projects) in full stack development.
- Proficiency with at least one front-end framework (React, Angular, or Vue) and one back-end environment (Node.js, Express, Django, or Flask).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and database technologies (SQL and/or NoSQL).
- Understanding of Git-based version control and Agile development practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required.
- Must reside in the Continental US.
- Depending on the government agency, specific requirements may include a public trust background check.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting state federal government IT programs specifically within CMS or health industry.
- Experience building RESTful APIs.
- Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Previous experience working on government or regulated industry projects is a plus.
- Exposure to sandbox or pilot testing environments within Agile or DevSecOps pipelines.
