Current Need:

The Junior Data Architect will be responsible for implementing, managing the overall data architecture, and developing advanced data analytics tools to facilitate GPO Team complex business functions.

This is a heavy remote opportunity within commuting distance and ability to go into The Woodlands, TX office as needed. Candidate must be relocated to Texas.

Job Summary:

The role will support McKesson GPO Analytics processes and will provide insights on topics such as:

• Web Programming (data upload application)

• Enhance, maintain existing inhouse data processing web portal

• Creating data model, data mart based on business requirements

• ETL Data processing

• Support analytic team BI development

• Other analytical support including ad-hoc reporting, data extracts on demand

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Internal Web Portal development and support ETL processing using different sources.

• Maintain, enhance existing data model process and BI data extracts

• Perform collaboration with other teams for data acquisition

• Coordinate system development with IT to enhance automation and visibility

Minimum Requirement:

• Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree with computer related courses

Critical Skills:

• Must have experience in some programming languages (such as Python, C# etc.) and SQL and Database Management System

• Projects with related skills such as programming, SQL, Reporting

• Fast learner and able to work independently

• Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Experience using MS Office Suite

• Familiarity with machine learning and AI algorithms and their applications is a plus

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$87,600 - $146,000
