Jr. Accountant

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare asset, liability and capital account entries by compiling and analyze account information
• Document financial transactions by entering account information
• Perform monthly bookkeeping and Accounting from clients and vendors
• Handle general accounting functions (journal entries, general ledger maintenance and account reconciliation
• Prepare financial statements
• Prepare tax documents
• Other duties as assigned by manager

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Must have 5 years of manufacturing experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
• Computer literate in Microsoft Office – with emphasis on Excel
• SAP
• Computer literacy skills, especially with MS Excel and basic data entry and computation
• Analytical skills with a keen sense of organization and detail
• Proven time management skills and ability to work under strict deadlines
• Respect for confidentiality of information laws and local ethics
• Expertise in activity-based costing for fixed and variable costs in relation to the overall direct cost of a line of products
• Must be respectful, honest, and demonstrate a strong work ethic

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
