We are hiring an Electrical Engineer in support of Strategic and Trusted Microelectronics.
Essential Responsibilities:
The individual will be working to develop tests for memory, FPGAs, CPUs, ASIC or other digital devices within radiation environments. Tasking may include:
- Writing software to interact with devices
- Creating post-processing scripts in Python to analyze data, and documenting findings
- Individuals may be asked to present findings at conferences or share with the radiation effects community depending on customer requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 5 or more years of job-related experience.
- 3+ years VHDL or Verilog experience necessary
- 2+ years Python Experience necessary
- Strong technical writing background
- Ability to travel, as required.
- Position will require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance with an Interim Secret Clearance prior to start (Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 + years printed circuit board design strongly preferred
- Deep knowledge of device physics in semiconductors strongly preferred
- Deep knowledge of radiation effects in semiconductors strongly preferred
- 3+ years Developing/Testing microelectronics preferred
- Knowledge of High-Speed digital design best practices preferred
- Familiarity of LabVIEW strongly preferred
- Experience with semiconductor fabrication tools and processes
- Active Secret Clearance
