Job Opportunity : Accountant

Key Accountabilities

Analyze and research revenue accounting matters including new product launches and unique customer arrangements in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.

Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.

Prepare accurate and comprehensive documentation around accounting conclusions reached.

Assist with ad hoc projects and questions.Enhance existing processes by identifying efficiencies or proposing new ways to do things. 

Work closely with sales, operations, and other departments to gather necessary information for revenue recognition and reporting.

Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations related to revenue transactions. 

Skills

Extensive knowledge of revenue recognition in US GAAP under ASC 606.

Experience researching complex accounting issues.Excellent time and self-management skills, the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

Preference for working in a fast paced and challenging environment.2+ years of public accounting experience (Big 4 or large regional audit firm preferred).

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.Knowledge of and basic ability to read and write SQL a bonus.

Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred.Understanding of Oracle e-Business Suite and OneStream a plus
