We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Scrum Master to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in driving Agile practices within our organization, ensuring that Scrum methodologies are effectively implemented and adhered to. The Scrum Master will act as a servant leader and facilitator, enabling the team to deliver high-quality products efficiently while fostering a collaborative and transparent work environment. This position requires strong communication and facilitation skills to bridge the gap between development teams and stakeholders, with a particular emphasis on supporting financial reporting initiatives and participating in Scrum of Scrums for cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitating all Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure productive and focused meetings.
  • Removing impediments and obstacles that hinder the team’s progress, enabling smooth and continuous delivery of project goals.
  • Coaching and mentoring team members and stakeholders on Scrum principles and Agile best practices to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Collaborating closely with Product Owners, development teams, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
  • Leading and participating in Scrum of Scrums meetings to coordinate dependencies, share progress, and resolve cross-team issues, particularly those related to financial reporting and project budgeting.
  • Monitoring and managing project risks, proactively identifying potential issues and working with the team to mitigate them.
  • Utilizing project management and tracking tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps to maintain transparency, track progress, and report on key metrics.
  • Supporting financial reporting processes by facilitating discussions and ensuring that Agile practices align with financial goals and compliance requirements.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing team performance metrics and feedback to optimize workflows and increase productivity.
  • Acting as a change agent to promote Agile transformation across the organization, ensuring that Scrum practices are adapted to meet evolving business needs.
RequirementsMust-Have Skills
  • Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Scrum framework, including roles, events, artifacts, and rules. Ability to tailor Scrum practices to fit the team’s context while maintaining core Agile principles.
  • Proficiency in Agile frameworks beyond Scrum, such as Kanban or Lean, to support flexible and adaptive project management approaches.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities to effectively convey information, facilitate discussions, and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Expertise in leading Agile ceremonies and workshops, ensuring active participation, clear outcomes, and resolution of conflicts or blockers.
  • Skilled in identifying and addressing team conflicts constructively, fostering a collaborative and positive team environment.
  • Proficient in using Jira or Azure DevOps for backlog management, sprint tracking, reporting, and integration with other development tools.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills to manage multiple priorities, coordinate cross-functional teams, and deliver projects on time.
  • Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring minimal impact on delivery and quality.
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Financial Reporting: Experience in financial reporting processes, including understanding budget tracking, cost management, and financial compliance within Agile projects. Ability to facilitate financial discussions and align Agile practices with financial objectives.
  • Scrum of Scrums: Familiarity with Scrum of Scrums ceremonies to coordinate multiple Agile teams, manage inter-team dependencies, and support enterprise-level Agile scaling.
