The Role

Are you ready to join the team of software engineering experts at Kyndryl? We are seeking a talented Software Engineering Technical Specialist to contribute to our software engineering space and provide critical skills required for the development of cutting-edge products.  

Key Responsibilities

 Provide end-to-end functional support for JDE Financial modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), and Expense Management.

 Analyze current business processes and provide recommendations to leverage JDE 9.2 capabilities such as UX One, CafeOne, and Watchlists.

 Ensure the system meets Indian statutory requirements, including GST

configuration, TDS processing, and legislative updates. Support the finance team during tax audits and month-end/year-end closing cycles.

 Lead workshops to gather business requirements, translate them into detailed Functional Design Documents (FDDs), and collaborate with developers on Technical Design.

 Troubleshoot and configure integrations between Financials and other modules (Procurement, Sales, Distribution) and third-party systems via Orchestrator or BSSV.

 Design and maintain User Defined Objects (UDOs) to improve user productivity. Conduct training sessions and create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the

Knowledge Base.

 Understanding of JDE accounting flow and localized statutory settings.

 Proficiency in One View Reporting (OVR), BI Publisher, and standard JDE financial reports.

 Hands-on experience with Orchestrator (from a functional design perspective) and UDO management.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

 Strong knowledge of JD Edwards modules (Finance / SCM / Manufacturing)

 Understanding of end-to-end business processes

 Experience in:

o Functional configuration

o Fit-Gap analysis

o Business process mapping

 Ability to troubleshoot functional issues and coordinate with technical teams

 Good communication and stakeholder management skills

 Typically 8-10+ Years of JDE functional experience

 Experience in implementation, upgrade, or support projects

 Exposure to JDE EnterpriseOne tools

 Knowledge of integrations and reporting

 Experience in global support / 24x7 environments
