The Role

Are you ready to join the team of software engineering experts at Kyndryl? We are seeking a talented Software Engineering Technical Specialist to contribute to our software engineering space and provide critical skills required for the development of cutting-edge products.  

Key Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end functional support for JDE Financial modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), and Expense Management.

• Analyze current business processes and provide recommendations to leverage JDE 9.2 capabilities such as UX One, CafeOne, and Watchlists.

• Ensure the system meets Indian statutory requirements, including GST

configuration, TDS processing, and legislative updates. Support the finance team during tax audits and month-end/year-end closing cycles.

• Lead workshops to gather business requirements, translate them into detailed Functional Design Documents (FDDs), and collaborate with developers on Technical Design.

• Troubleshoot and configure integrations between Financials and other modules (Procurement, Sales, Distribution) and third-party systems via Orchestrator or BSSV.

• Design and maintain User Defined Objects (UDOs) to improve user productivity. Conduct training sessions and create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the

Knowledge Base.

• Understanding of JDE accounting flow and localized statutory settings.

• Proficiency in One View Reporting (OVR), BI Publisher, and standard JDE financial reports.

• Hands-on experience with Orchestrator (from a functional design perspective) and UDO management.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Strong knowledge of JD Edwards modules (Finance / SCM / Manufacturing)

• Understanding of end-to-end business processes

• Experience in:

o Functional configuration

o Fit-Gap analysis

o Business process mapping

• Ability to troubleshoot functional issues and coordinate with technical teams

• Good communication and stakeholder management skills

• Typically 8-10+ Years of JDE functional experience

• Experience in implementation, upgrade, or support projects

• Exposure to JDE EnterpriseOne tools

• Knowledge of integrations and reporting

• Experience in global support / 24x7 environments
