About This Job
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Junior Business & Technology Analyst Program- a rotational early-career development program designed to provide hands-on experience across multiple areas of Information Technology. Participants gain exposure to key disciplines including Business Analysis, Data Analytics, Software Development, Quality Assurance (QA), and Product Management, building a strong foundation for long-term career growth within technology.This developer will support Consumer IT through reporting, analytics, data validation, platform administration, automation, and light technical development activities. This role provides hands-on experience with enterprise technology platforms, reporting tools, business intelligence solutions, and emerging technologies while developing foundational analytical and technical skills. You will assist with data analysis, validation activities, tool administration, and technology enablement initiatives.
Work is performed under the guidance of the manager, who establishes requirements, success criteria, and data validation standards.
This role will sit onsite at our HQ in San Diego, CA. Remote or hybrid work will not be available for this position.
Responsibilities:
Reporting & Analytics
Perform data pulls, analysis, and reporting activities
Create, maintain, and enhance recurring reports
Analyze trends and data patterns to support informed decision-making
Complete ad hoc reporting and analytical requests
Data Validation & Quality Assurance
Validate data against established business rules, reporting standards, and acceptance criteria
Reconcile data across multiple systems, reports, and datasets
Identify, investigate, and document data discrepancies
Conduct quality assurance reviews of reports, dashboards, and data extracts
Support continuous improvement of data accuracy, consistency, and reliability
Execute validation testing for new reports, dashboards, automations, and technology solutions
Platform Administration
Support Azure DevOps (ADO) administration activities
Support Tableau administration activities
Administer reporting, analytics, and productivity platforms
Assist with onboarding and support of new technologies introduced to the organization
Technology Development & Automation
Perform light development and technical configuration activities
Assist with automation and workflow improvement initiatives
Support integrations between reporting, business management, and technology platforms
Participate in testing and validation of system enhancements
Assist with tool customization and technology enablement efforts
AI & Emerging Technology
Support adoption of AI-enabled productivity and reporting solutions
Assist in developing AI-driven reporting and analysis capabilities
Research emerging technologies and identify practical use cases
Contribute to innovation efforts that improve team efficiency and reporting effectiveness
Documentation & Knowledge Management
Document reporting logic, business rules, and validation processes
Maintain knowledge articles and support materials
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Technology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 applications
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and commitment to data quality
Ability to learn new technologies quickly
Interest in AI, analytics, and emerging technologies
Preferred:
Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar reporting tools
Exposure to Azure DevOps (ADO).
Basic SQL knowledge
Exposure to scripting or development languages such as Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, or similar
