Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Kotlin with Spring/Spring Boot.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs.
- Work with SQL databases (especially MariaDB) and NoSQL systems like DynamoDB.
- Contribute to front-end development using React.
- Design, implement, and monitor scalable cloud-native solutions on AWS (e.g., RDS, ECS, Beanstalk, EventBridge, CloudWatch).
- Containerize and deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Write and maintain unit tests and ensure code quality and coverage.
- Enhance system observability through effective logging, metrics, and monitoring.
- Participate in system design discussions and contribute to architecture decisions.
- Collaborate closely with other engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
Requirements
- Solid experience with Java and Kotlin in backend development.
- Strong knowledge of Spring and Spring Boot frameworks.
- Experience with SQL, particularly MariaDB.
- Proven experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Front-end development experience with React.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (RDS, ECS, Beanstalk, EventBridge, CloudWatch).
- Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
- Understanding of observability best practices (e.g., logging, monitoring, alerting).
- Experience designing and building scalable systems and applications
