Join the team of our client as a Java Software Engineer, where your expertise will directly contribute to eTrading & Distribution sector within the Markets and Treasury division. This role places you in a customer-focused DevOps organization.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Engaging in both front-end and back-end software engineering within a self-organizing DevOps team.
- Working on a key application that oversees the bank’s FTP policy across various departments requiring Treasury funds.
- Fostering a collaborative environment, sharing knowledge, and enhancing the BusDevOps methodology.
- Identifying and implementing innovative solutions for complex problems.
- Keeping abreast of industry trends and integrating these insights into your development work.
- Serving as a consultative partner to business units, development teams, product owners, and other stakeholders.
- Translating detailed product backlog items into technical solutions and developing effective software.
You will be a part of the Treasury WorkFlow squad, a crucial component of the strategic eTrading & Distribution architecture in the Treasury department.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in full-stack Java software engineering, including Java 11 and Spring.
- Experience with distributed software architectures and cloud-based hosting (preferably Azure).
- Back-end development proficiency with some front-end (web) development exposure.
- Knowledge of Continuous Integration, Build, and Deployment practices, tools, and trends.
- Comprehensive understanding of Java development methods, IT architectures, and common development tools.
- Skill in writing SQL database queries.
- Experience in the financial sector is preferable.
- Familiarity with tools like Azure DevOps and Splunk monitoring.
- A flexible, proactive approach with a strong analytical mindset and result orientation.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
