Key Contributions- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java backend services using Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
- Collaborate with AI Engineers to integrate LLM-powered solutions and AI agents into EPOS’s existing systems and business workflows.
- Develop APIs, backend components, and integration logic to connect AI services with internal systems, databases, and business applications.
- Build and enhance AI agent workflows, including tool calling and multi-step execution, where required.
- Ensure the performance, reliability, security, and scalability of AI-integrated backend services in production.
- Troubleshoot integration issues, and maintain high standards of code quality and system maintainability.
- Contribute to system architecture, code reviews, and technical improvements while mentoring junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 6 years of experience in Java backend development, with strong proficiency in Java, Spring frameworks (Spring Boot, JUnit, etc), RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.
- Solid experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-based application development.
- Solid understanding of system design, API integration, distributed systems, and production-grade software development.
- Hands-on experience integrating LLMs, AI services, or AI agents into applications or backend systems.
- Familiarity with AI agent workflows, tool/function calling, and LLM orchestration frameworks is a plus.
- Experience with cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Good English communication is mandatory.
