The team is seeking a Software Engineer to design, implement, test, and operate software systems using advanced security techniques in alignment with the Technical Reference Architecture. Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience as a Software Engineer (SWE) on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.

    • Note: Four (4) additional years of SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

  • Six (6) years of experience developing software in Java
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience with Open Source (NoSQL) products such as HBase, Accumulo, BigTable, etc.

  • At least six (6) years of experience within the most recent eight (8) years developing production software in Solaris or Linux environments.

  • Hands-on experience developing RESTful services.
  • Demonstrated Java development expertise.

  • Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.

  • Prior experience developing analytics applications.

Target Salary Range$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
